In September 2011 I started my degree course at Kingston University. I am studying Journalism. I have always had an interest in the media around me and I have a passion for writing. I have previously had some work published whilst completing work experience at ‘You and Your Wedding’ magazine and on the i-travel online magazine of Kuoni. When working at ‘You and Your wedding’ I worked with the fashion director and the online content team, this is where I got a feature published in the ‘news and trends’ online section. At Kuoni I worked with the marketing team and the PR team. I wrote a piece on Honeymoons and Weddings  abroad, whilst working with PR I was lucky enough to attend a press launch of their new product, ‘The Holiday Report.‘ Here I was introduced to many different journalist who work at papers such as The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Vogue, and Grazia. This was a great experience and I really enjoyed it. Whilst studying at University I hope to gain more work experience. I’m looking forward to learning all the different aspects of journalism within my course.
